Intercollegiate sports as reported under the Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act (EADA) to the U.S. Department of Education. Covers Title IV schools with an intercollegiate athletics program. A team is listed when the school reported participants for that gender. Athletically related student aid (STUDENTAID_*) is institution-level, not per sport. Self-reported, updated annually, and not a quality ranking. Not limited to NCAA members. Athletic aid dollars are institution totals (not per sport). NCAA Division III and NJCAA Division III cannot award athletic scholarships by rule, but schools may still offer non-athletic merit or need-based aid. Championship chips are NCAA team titles only (not NAIA, club, or individual events); FBS football is omitted.
