How to read a school page end to end

Stats, standings, lists, athletics, news — one profile, many jobs. Know which panel answers which question.

September 2, 2026

A school page is not a brochure. It is a Scorecard-backed dossier: headline stats with national standings, list appearances, class profile when available, programs, athletics, alumni, news, and outbound links. Reading only admit rate wastes the page.

A useful pass

  • Cost and outcomes first if money matters — net price, earnings, debt, graduation.
  • List appearances next — where this campus shows up on single-metric and curated lists.
  • Then athletics / coaching CTAs if those paths are real for you (sports, coaching).

When a cell is blank, it is blank. We do not impute. That honesty is the point.
